Miriam joined Kohelet in 2023 as the Development Associate. Before coming to Kohelet, Miriam had the opportunity to stay home with her three young kids for several years. During this time she volunteered at different synagogues and schools working on kids programming and event-planning. Prior to her volunteer work, Miriam worked as Account Manager for an advertising agency in Philadelphia, where she designed and implemented marketing strategies and helped plan and execute large-scale projects. Miriam moved to Philadelphia in 2015, but has had family ties in the community for as long as she can remember. Her parents are longtime members of Congregation Mikvah Israel in Center City and she has celebrated many milestones there. Miriam now lives in Merion Station with her husband and three children and are members at Lower Merion Synagogue.
