Malkie Schwartz
Morah Malkie, a Brooklyn native, received her bachelor's degree at Brooklyn College, after which she went on to obtain her Masters of Education degree from Hunter College with dual certification in General Education and Special Education with an emphasis on learning disabilities. She then taught as a Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) provider, working in private Jewish and Catholic schools with students from kindergarten to seventh grade. After relocating to Pennsylvania in 2016, Morah Malkie worked as a pre-k teacher for the School District of Philadelphia, where she honed her skills as a classroom teacher, striving to provide foundational and school readiness skills with students exhibiting a wide variety of academic and behavioral needs. She is a strong believer in the unique individuality and identity of every student, and loves working with the talented Kohelet Yeshiva team!
